CAROL
NASHE
President of the Nashe Group
Carol Nashe formed her own public relations firm and association
management organization called the Nashe Group. Also in 1993 Ms. Nashe formed a golf
promotion division called www.golfonthego.org.
Since relocating to Las Vegas, Ms. Nashe has formed an entertainment group representing
the contemporary blues band "BluesStorm" www.bluesstorm.com.
Prior to moving to Nevada, she served as Vice President of Public/Community Affairs for
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts for nine years, and Executive Vice President
for ten years with the National Association of Radio Talk Show Hosts, with responsibility
for many community-related programs and media relations. With her newly formed company, www.talkshowhosts.com, Nashe is able to pursue
diversified and challenging assignments.
Nashe also has extensive experience
in the hospitality industry, having been regional director of public relations and special
events for Sheraton Hotels in Boston and Hartford, Connecticut, from 1975 to 1984. It was
during that time that she gained much acclaim for leading special tours of well-known
public officials, business leaders, and media throughout the world. Nashe organized and
led an impressive tour throughout mainland China which included then-Massachusetts First
Lady Kitty Dukakis, a representative of the Mayor's Office, several TV personalities and
over a dozen of New England's most renowned chefs who participated in the tour's
"Great Chefs" exchange program. This tour was taped for a television series on
WCVB-TV's "Chronicle" (ABC Affiliate). Areas in which she has led VIP tours
through include Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.
During one Nashe Group tour, she
escorted the NARTSH Board of Directors along the Alaska pipeline to study its
environmental impact so that the radio industry representatives could report their
findings to audiences across the United States.
Nashe is the immediate past chairman
of the board of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Executives Club, which addresses
issues confronting businesses and senior corporate management. She is a director of the
New England Broadcasting Association, overseer of the World Trade Club, past president of
the New England Chapter of Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association, a board member
of the Boston Organizing Committee, and advisor to Radio TV News Director Association,
national trustee of the National Kidney Foundation and past chairman of its Massachusetts
chapter, on the board of Massachusetts Special Olympics, and sits on the boards of many
other respected national and regional organizations. Nashe is also the Associate Publisher
of the Social Calendar, a calendar magazine for arts, sports, business and special events.
The founder and President, Carol
Nashe, has more than 25 years of experience in the PR industry and is an established and
highly respected member of the community. Over the years, Nashe has developed strong
relations with members of the arts community, the hospitality industry, the broadcasting
industry, and the political scene. Nashe can bring invaluable knowledge and savvy to each
campaign, as well as class, integrity, and a few fireworks. The Carol Nashe Group
works zealously and tirelessly to produce campaigns that are innovative and fresh, molding
each to fit the clients image. The all encompassing term "public

Nashe has won numerous awards
including the Humanitarian Award from Heaven's Children, a Matrix Award for Women in
Communication, Woman of the Year Award from the Big Sister Association and the
Massachusetts Kidney Foundation, and the Chairman's Award from Sheraton Corporation. She
is listed in Who's Who Worldwide, Who's Who Executives, Who's Who in America, Who's Who
Registry of Global Business Leaders - 1994-2002 Editions, and World Who's Who of Women
International. She was
also recently elected to the Southern Nevada Blues Association (SNBA) as the Director of
Communications. Ms. Nashe has been made a member of the Sigma Delta Omega Society in
recognition of high attainment in the field of broadcasting.
