Former child star tells of his exploits in 'Random Acts'
Former "Partridge Family" mighty mite Danny Bonaduce, thanks to TV Land, will be
like Lucille Ball - a redhead frozen in time.
Yes, Bonaduce had a real life after being a child star and it was predictably wild.
Major legal, drug and psychological problems followed - in the pattern that seemed to
start in the '20s with child star Jackie Coogan.
Bonaduce was the morning guy at Detroit's WKQI-FM (95.5) for about 18 months starting in
1996. Part of that time, he commuted between Detroit and Chicago to do shows in both
cities on the same day.
Bonaduce is forthright in writing about things many would prefer to keep unwritten and he
offers hope to those with similar neuroses. And really, who could ask for anything
more?
